The Day We Played "Train"
This winter season we've had really more than our share of cold and rainy days! Ok, so high 30's and low to mid 40's isn't "cold" to all you northerners, but here in the "sunny south" the cold damp air goes right through all the layers of clothes! When the quads and Jacob are at our house on those days, we really have to search for indoor things to do!
Last week, Sienna (in the purple outfit) put together a train for everybody to ride on. WHOOHOO!! That was Great! Thank you Sienna for thinking about doing that!

They all had their own personal chairs, got to eat snacks on the train and we even did a little reading while they were sitting on the train!
Oh, and if you'll pay attention to the little one in the middle -- that's Sarah - who I'm sure is the most stubborn, opinionated person I've ever seen! She refuses to wear long pants --- we have to threaten to leave her behind whenever we go someplace just to get her to put pants on - but only for the ride -- at the destination, the pants immediately come off.
Also notice the "orange" shirt -- that's the ONLY color she will wear! If you don't have something she likes, in orange, she wants the same one that she wore yesterday. Looks like we'd better be stocking up on whatever fabric comes in orange or she may not make it through her teenage years! "That's my FAVORITE color" is her favorite saying!!
The quads are 3 now - turned 3 in October and big brother Jacob will be FIVE the end of July this year. Aren't they just the cutest bunch of passengers any train would love to transport!
